Bound For Broadway 2024!

The return of New York City’s premier singer showcase, now in its third year monthly residency at the Triad Theater.  Founded in 2009, Bound For Broadway opened at The Duplex where it had four successful years before heading uptown to The West End Lounge where it played until 2020.  B4B has long been a staple of the NYC cabaret nightlife scene.  Over the years, more than 4,000 singers have graced the stage, many in their New York debut.   B4B alumni have gone onto lead successful careers in all factors of the entertainment industry.

Now following the pandemic, B4B has found a new home at the Triad Theater, the famed Off-Broadway venue on the Upper West Side.  The production reunites the show’s long standing team of emcee Jake Mckenna and music director Mason Griffin with new director and producer, Andy Crosten at the helm.  Andy has been a member of the NYC theater and cabaret community for over a decade as a performer, drag artist, booker, director, and producer and is proud to also be one of the main bookers for the Triad Theater.

The show features an astounding array of meticulously curated professional singers performing their best show-stopping numbers!  Plus, a special guest star from the Broadway stage will headline every performance.  Up-and-coming singers will have the unique opportunity to share the stage with a Broadway professional and also take part in an intimate workshop session with the special guest star and Bound For Broadway team.  

B4B has been nominated for eight BroadwayWorld Cabaret Awards including Best Variety Show, Best Open Mic Show, Best Director (Andy Crosten), Best Musical Director (Mason Griffin), Best Emcee (Jake Mckenna), and Best Ensemble Soloist (Mia Gentile and Tyler Hardwick).
